WHAT IS CBD OIL?
Lifeflow CBD Oil contains CBD (Cannabidiol) which is one of the many cannabinoids and naturally occurring chemical compounds found in the hemp plant.
There are many ways by which to take CBD oil, the most popular of these is oil drops, which can be found in our online product range.
The aforementioned Cannabidiol is extracted directly from the hemp plant, then processed into a usable oil, each with its own specific CBD content.
Generally, there are two different types of CBD oil which can be found on the market:
Full Spectrum CBD, which is also referred to as whole plant extract. This method of extraction produces an oil that contains a range of other cannabinoids in addition to CBD.
Full spectrum CBD oil also contains naturally-occurring cannabis terpenes, which are said to provide CBD’s anti-inflammatory properties.
The combination of Cannabidiol and terpenes is what promotes full spectrum CBD as the optimum choice for treating inflammation.
Full spectrum CBD products also usually contain traces of THC. However, the total THC content is extremely low.
CBD Isolate contains solely CBD, with no other cannabinoids or terpenes. This absence of terpenes, and therefore, associated anti-inflammatory benefits, is what makes isolate a less popular choice than full spectrum CBD. However, CBD isolate oil may be the preferred choice in some instances, as it contains no THC, for example, if you are concerned about THC-based drug testing.
A DIETARY SUPPLEMENT TO GET YOU HEALTHY NOT HIGH
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a key compound found in the cannabis plant and boasts a plethora of research into its properties. While CBD is one of over 100 compounds found within the cannabis plant, it is THC which is solely responsible for cannabis’s stereotypical connotations with getting high.
Since CBD is a natural supplement, it is certified legal providing that the THC content is kept to a minimum. In the UK, this level must be less than 0.2%.
Lifeflow CBD must stipulate that, as with all emerging natural remedies, the full potential for medical effects of CBD remain unexplored by researchers. There are only suggested benefits to taking CBD as a dietary supplement, and here at Lifeflow, we recommend you try out our CBD for yourself.
ARE YOU NEW TO CBD?
New to CBD Oil and unsure about how much you should take? At Lifeflow CBD we recommend beginning your CBD journey with a low dose, then gradually building up your intake. As you gently increase your dosage, usually over a period of a few weeks, you will discover the dose which meets your needs. Please consult the dosage recommendations on all of our products prior to use.
DROP IT UNDER YOUR TONGUE
In order to maximise the expected health benefits from CBD oil, you must be familiar with both dosage and method of use.
If taking CBD oil drops or tinctures, please find the suggested serving amount indicated on the packaging. Next, place a few drops under your tongue with the dropper. Try to hold the oil in place for a minimum of one minute, this allows the oil to be absorbed fully through the blood vessels under the tongue; bypassing the first-pass metabolism. Finally, following the one minute, swallow the CBD oil.
